Pre-Asano Highest Quality Mikawa Koma (駒) Nagura 243g

  Rare, pre-Asano White Mikawa Koma nagura. 

  Rare Koma (駒)stamp with kanji not katakana. The other stamp on the stone translates "Highest Quality"
 It has medium hardness and a softer feeling compared with nagura extracted after 1961 by Asano and Sakamoto. 
Being softer make it much easier to build slurry on very hard stones.  

The numbers on the stone 47 and 11/17 might represent the date when it was purchased by the first owner.

Size about 7x6x5.5cm  

Comes with its original old box, but as you can see in the last photo, it is quite in a bad shape.
