Japanese Natural Finishing Whetstone Shoubudani  Asagi Karasu

It is a medium to hard and superfine stone that I recommend it to be used as a final finisher at the end of the honing progression or to refresh the edge of the razor every time the shave is less comfortable and starts to pull the hair. A tomo nagura that is matching the fineness of the stone will be included as a gift. 

This stone can put a very smooth and comfortable shaving edge on the razor but also can be used with great results as a a knife finisher. You can use it immediately with water, you can use it with slurry or if is soaked in water for about 10-15 minutes it will get a softer feeling about 3.5 Hardness and a feeling of increased cutting power. 

Please notice that on the surface has some very thin cracks! I’ve already tested them and they don’t affect honing, you can safely hone your razor!
