 The famous Tamahagane or “The Jewel Steel”, is well known to be the most pure and precious Japanese steel.
 Produced with ancient and complex processes, renown for extreme sharpness and excellent edge retention, this precious steel was used to forge the best of the samurai swords. 

 Condition

Rare NOS, new, unused. On the packaging are some stains from long storage. 

Already have a very sharp edge! 

Forged in Japan by Eijiro Saku with Tamahagane steel(玉鋼)

The legendary sharpness and edge retention of Tamahagane is what makes this kiridashi fit for an intense and extended use without the constant need for sharpening.
